Privacy notice
Last updated 19 August 2026. This notice covers serumeyelashes.co.uk and explains what data the site handles, what cookies are involved, and why there is nothing commercial behind the ranking.
Commercial independence
This site is not monetised. There are no affiliate links, no advertising, no sponsored content and no paid placements. The link beside each serum points at the brand’s own website and carries no tracking of ours; we earn nothing if you follow it, and nothing if you buy.
Products are scored on measured growth, safety and tolerance, formula and value, using the method set out on the testing page, and every product is bought at retail with our own money. Brands cannot pay to be listed, to move up, or to have a criticism removed.
Who is responsible for your data
Serum Eyelashes operates this website and is the data controller for any personal data it processes. Questions, or requests to exercise the rights below, go to hello@serumeyelashes.co.uk.
What we collect
- Email correspondence. If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with the enquiry, plus a reasonable period for our records.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, referring page and time of request, for security and to keep the site running. These are ordinary technical logs, kept for a short retention period.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying page statistics, used only to see which pages are read.
We do not sell personal data, we do not run a mailing list, and there is no account to create on this site.
Cookies
The site itself sets no advertising or profiling cookies. Two other things can set cookies in your browser:
- Brand websites. Following a link to a brand takes you to a site we do not control, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Nothing about you is passed to it from here.
- Fonts and embedded resources. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works without them.
Legal basis
We process correspondence on the basis of legitimate interests — answering someone who has written to us — and technical logs on the basis of legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. Where consent is required for any non-essential cookie, it is asked for before that cookie is set.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to hello@serumeyelashes.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Medical disclaimer
This site publishes consumer information about cosmetic products. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a pharmacist, GP or ophthalmologist. Lash serums are cosmetics, not treatments. If you have an eye condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or develop redness, pain, swelling or any change in vision, stop using the product and seek professional advice.
Accuracy
Prices, formulations and availability change without notice. We check the ranking regularly and date every update, but the retailer's own product page is always the authority on what is currently in the tube and what it costs. If you spot something out of date, let us know.
